Berlin artist Katrin von Lehmann received her artistic training at the Academy of Fine Art in Munich. Her practice employs a diverse range of media, including photographic weaving, installation, photography and drawing. Katrin was artist-in-residence at the Max Planck Institute for History of Science, Berlin which led to her exhibition Looking at Diversity in 2013. In 2014 she participated in the Bergen Horta Projekt, a collaboration with the Universities of Bergen, Norway, and of the Azores. Additionally, Katrin is a founding member of Scotty Enterprises, an artist-run initiative in Berlin. She has been the recipient of a DAAD Fellowship and the Brandenburgischer Kunst-Förderpries (BKF). Her work is included in the Berlin public collections N.B.K., the Amerika Gedenkbibliothek and the Kommunale Galerie Berlin as well as in private collections.
